The starting point is always the mix and the release goal. SPL Mastering does not apply one preset chain to every record; the processing route is selected according to what the track needs to translate and feel finished.

What is included in the mastering workflow?
Mastering decisions
EQ, dynamics, stereo, saturation and level are used only where they improve the record and support the intended playback environment.

What should I send before mastering?
Send the final approved mix at its native sample rate and bit depth, avoiding clipping. Include references and tell SPL where the record is going: streaming, club, radio, CD, label catalogue or multiple destinations.
Can you tell me if the mix needs changes first?
Yes. If something in the mix is likely to prevent a strong master, feedback can be given before committing to unnecessary processing.
How are revisions handled?
Review the master on playback systems you trust and send focused notes. Project communication and delivery can be kept together through XYPHERON.Chat.
